I am Criccia from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and a GOF member since January 13, 2006 but it seems I have been living here all my life.
I came here by invite and started to work in the committees I've joined. You will have time to see all my work in the Garden
but, at this moment, I have decided to create these dedication pages to GOF, specially for the Recruit Committee.
Without Recruiting, we will never have new members. Everybody comes from an invitation, depending on how many
people this committee has, more and more fantastic web sites will be added.
I've started at recruiting without knowing exactly what to do. Aussie Wendy, our GK
and my friend told me to try and see if I was able to do the work, if not, I could resign.
I started inviting 5 people a week, as assigned. One or two weeks more, I have received so many feedback from people
I have recruited, some becoming members, some not, but all of them becoming my cyber friends and always visiting my site.
With this new and unexpected result I started to invite 10 persons a week, 15 a week and in the month of the July, Birthday bash of GOF,
I've invited 76 persons!! Yes, it was my gift to GOF and also to myself, I've increased my friend's list in the strongest way.
Since then, I have been inviting 15 a week, sometimes, more, but this is my weekly media and GOF, my guest book and my site are very grateful.
I am always receiving new visits, who not only love my site about Rio de Janeiro, but also, click on the button to help poor women to have free
mammography ( I am a breast cancer survivor since 1999 and I try to do my best for this cause). They also can check the news about the
Global Warming, as I am a Greenpeace cyber activist. And, of course, many want to become member of Garden of Friendship...
I am really addicted for sending invitations; I have a special feeling in spreading the message... If you have a time, become a member of
the Garden Of Friendship, join the Recruiting Committee, and give yourself a try: invite 5 people in a week, it is more easy than
you can imagine and sooner you will be having new friends joining GOF and sharing life with You.

award in the GOF!!!
